Here's how and where you can pre-order the Spider-Man 2 PS5 bundle, faceplates, and DualSense controller.

Insomniac and Sony have partnered to announce a special Marvel's Spider-Man 2 edition of the PlayStation 5 console. Spider-Man 2 is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and arguably one of the biggest first party games to launch on the console. With that in mind, Sony has announced a special PS5 console with some great Spider-Man 2 designing on it.

The PS5 faceplate design shows the black symbiote creeping towards a white Spider-Man logo on a red background. Similarly, the DualSense for this bundle has a similar design, but with the logo on the controller's trackpad. The great thing is that you don't have to buy the entire bundle to get this design. Faceplates for both versions of the PS5 as well as the DualSense controller will also be sold separately.

If you've seen the trailers for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, you know that the Symbiote will be playing a big part in the story. Spider-Man himself even uses the Symbiote suit, giving him unique powers and a bad attitude. This design foreshadows how the Symbiote will slowly take over and change Peter Parker.

With the Spider-Man 2 PS5 bundle, you'll get the special edition console and DualSense controller. It will also feature a code for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which will activate once the game launches. Besides referencing the events of the game, the design also looks pretty cool on its own. If you're a big fan of the previous game and don't yet own a PS5 console, you should definitely get your hands on this one.

If you already own a PS5 console, of course it doesn't make any sense to buy the bundle just for the design. However, the Spider-Man 2 special edition DualSense controller is also being sold separately, so you can simply snatch it up without worry. It features a design pretty similar to the one on the console faceplates.

If you're just in the market for the controller, Sony is selling it separately as well. It features the same symbiote design as the console, however, the Spider-Man logo is centrally located, on the trackpad. There's not much else different about the DualSense besides the outer design.

If you already have a PS5, but want the cool designed offered by the Spider-Man 2 bundle, you can just purchase get the faceplates. Sony has thankfully made the PS5 faceplates very easy to remove and is also selling this version separately. This is a great buy if you like the design, but already own a console.

With the PS5, Sony decided that the massive faceplates should be easily detachable. And thanks to that, if you already own the console, you only need to buy the Spider-Man 2 faceplates and swap them. Just make sure you but the faceplates for your console - don't buy the regular ones if you have a Digital Edition console.

Spider-Man 2 for the PS5, as well as the PS5 bundle are both already up for pre-order.

Yes, Spider-Man 2 will only launch for the PS5. It will not feature on the PS4 or any other consoles.
